Cycling, pause/resume recording, and more!

We are happy to announce that the cycling activity is now available on iOS and Android! You can now record your cycling activities and get the same features as running, such as the estimation of calories burned, the distance, the duration, etc.

We have also added the possibility to pause and resume a recording, in case you need to take a break during your activity. The recording will be paused and you will be able to resume it later. This feature is available for both running and cycling.

Finally, we have redesigned the recording screen to make it more intuitive and easier to use and the activity details screen to make the summary and the charts easier to read.

The amount of calories burned during a workout provides helpful information for various reasons. It can be used for a race preparation to schedule the nutrition plan, during a regimen for weight gain or loss, etc. The estimation is based on body information such as the weight, age and gender, all very private information.

In this release, we have added the possibility to add these information to your profile, end-to-end encrypted with the guarantee that it keeps private and is known to you only. Once provided, the estimation of calories burned will be displayed for all the activities recorded from this point.
